The staff that picked up my father we're very respectful and patient. Id give them alone 5 starts. However this was not the case when dealing with Bernadette at the funeral home. Things we've had before can't fit through doors, the range of coffin or caskets was limited to what we could have according to her, when I know I'VE had 2 in a plot before. If we have had it before then why not again. Instead of checking with the cemetery she told us what she wanted us to hear, she finally decided to call the cemetery and could not answer to questions to why we can't have what we had before.
OH YEAH, ONE EXCUSE WAS THE CASKET CANT FIT THROUGH THE DOOR, WELL THE STYLE WE HAD TWICE IN 2010 AND 2017 DID FIT, THEN SHE HAD THE CHEEK TO QUESION IF THAT BRANCH WAS THE ONE I HAD BEEN TO previously. My questions obviously showed her short comings and she then stated that she'd like me to leave so she can carry on pushing her sales onto my family as I made her uncomfortable!!!!!!!. Is she not supposed to be able to answer them simple questions?
PEOPLE......JUST BECAUSE YOU HAVE A PLAN DOES NOT MEAN YOU NEED TO STAY THERE, SO IF UP TO ME I'D TAKE MY BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. MY MUM BEING LOYAL TO THESE BUSINESSES WILL STAY THERE. BE Warned LOYALTY MEANS NOTHING AFTER THE THOUSANDS SPENT WITH THIS COMPANY OVER THE YEARS.
My advice if you can't send your loved one off the way you want to, go elsewhere. At least have someone that knows the job properly.
My mum has a plan, plot included, was told she can't have 2 baskets we have had this before! Impossible we were told!!!! they don't do that anymore. Well they did and she She does!
The woman asked me if im sure that the kensal rise branch was the one we've used before, I know where I am, thanks.
My gran had this type of casket..I was told I must be mistaken. The service was unreal. Bring back GARY i say!
Never had these problems with john nodes before but when it come to anyone else passing away they WILL NOT BE USED AGAIN BY MY FAMILY.

Just wanted to say a huge thank you to the team at john nodes funeral service in harlseden Nw10 who took care of our grandma. When we went to visit her, she looked amazing, and the room was so beautiful with the candles and a nice warm sent. We truly appreciated the love and care you showed her. Our hearts are full—grief is painful, but you made it a little easier for our family.

Our mum passed away suddenly we went to John Nodes by recommendation. I spoke to Tamara and instantly I said to myself yes this is where we are going to bring mum. Her vibe was so warming.I went home and spoke to my sister so we booked an appointment to go back we spoke to Tamara about all the arrangements this was new to us so we knew nothing of what we had to do.Tamara talked us through everything in detail and let us understand everything what was to be done, as this was our first time doing a funeral it is a hard thing to have to do and Tamara was so very good with us she gave us so much comfort while we were there. During our time with John Nodes Tamara had been off for a short time and so Georgiana took over and she also was so lovely and helpful. And helped us through the final things to do, we had a viewing a couple of days before the funeral and mum looked so nice and peaceful. On the day of the funeral John Nodes done a wonderful job all the staff were lovely. Tamara Georgiana Shaun and all the rest of the staff.

I know it is not a place anyone wants to visit but in reality we all need to do it at some point and I would truly recommend John Nodes 100%.

I would like to thank you all at the Harlesden branch of John Nodes for making this process for us warm kind and easier for us to manage.

From us going in and signing up for a Choice Funeral Plan to the actual funeral, the staff have been professional, approachable and responsive to our questions, providing suggestions and support. Tamara at the branch is so understanding - we thank you. From the team who transported dad to the care facility, to Shane, Sue, Steve and their colleagues who officiated at dad's funeral - we thank you so very much, your quiet presence was appreciated; you were wonderful, attentive and caring. Shane you are a star! You were spot on with the timings, transporting us between sites and giving instructions to the pall bearers and keeping me informed every step of the way - I salute you! Thank you for making dad's final journey peaceful, memorable and stress free. It may sound strange but I would recommend this funeral service, especially if you are unsure of what you want for yourself or a loved one - even before the sad day.
